Non-toxic Plus

Image taken from A Night For Green Beauty - LA FB Page

The sis and I just went to this great event last night put on by La Bella Figura called A Night For Green Beauty.  Wow!  I wish they would have this every season!  It was so awesome to be surrounded by all these great non-toxic, earth conscious beauty brands.

I was made aware of this event via Beautycounter.
I think someone posted about it on one of the FB pages.  So, naturally, Beautycounter had a beautiful set up at the event.  We just launched our Skin Cosmetics Collection and I cannot wait to get my samples!!  Tinted moisturizer (available in SEVEN shades - how great is that??), Concealer and a Retractable Complexion Coverage Brush.  Fun stuff.

My sister thinks I'm crazy and asks, "Since you are a Beautycounter Rep, shouldn't you just be using solely Beautycounter products?"

My answer is, "I CAN'T!!"  I am obsessed.  Truly obsessed.  Yes, Beautycounter works wonderfully, looks great sitting on my counter and in my shower...but I cannot be tied to just one brand. I just can't.

So, of course I was like a kid in a candy store last night.  I couldn't help but purchase the Sun Damage Serum from Laurel Whole Plant Organics.  Check out her website - isn't it luscious?

“As we are awakening and learning where our food comes from, this is also a time to be aware of where our skin care comes from, how its made, and what is in it. The most effective skin care is raw, organic, farm sourced, handcrafted and made with love. It’s time to raise the bar for skin care ingredients.”
- Laurel

Yes, Laurel!  Exactly how I feel which is why I support you AND Beautycounter!

Next, I was enthralled with Gressa Skin's Minimalist Corrective Serum - It's a serum!  It's a foundation!  It's a multivitamin for your face!  I mean...come on, people!  Does it get any better than this??  My excuse - Beautycounter doesn't have foundation just yet so I don't feel so bad getting it.  Foundation for those special nights out, Beautycounter Tinted Moisturizer for every day...

I also got Gressa's Lip Boost in Bare.  Here is a great little post by Seed to Serum on how wonderful this little balm is. By the way, I need another lip balm like I need a hole in my head.  Note to self:  Don't ever take the sis with me to events anymore.  She gushed about how beautiful the balm was on my lips - SOLD!  Well, it is quite a nice color and very moisturizing.  Feels great on the lips.

My next favorite brand that I came across was Zoe Organics.  EVERY newly pregnant mother should be using this brand's products.  Look at how lovely the website is!  It's a "lifestyle brand for the conscious family".  (Raising my hand here)  Oh me!  Me!  That's me and my family for sure!!  If I ever have any more pregnant friends, I will def get them the Pregnancy Gift Set and then after the baby is born, the Baby Gift Set.  And then when the kids are a bit older, Beautycounter's Kidscounter stuff!!  Every mother should give their children the best the world has to offer...rather than a bunch of toxic stuff from the time they are babes...Unacceptable Levels, people.  It's already too much.
